Sup Savvy Sumo-Lings,
We’re back!
Brent here from Snip & Float (previously known as Paragraph Snip).
My team and I are excited to end the boring manual computing, snipping, and referencing ways and bring about some long-awaited time-saving tech to our Sumo-Audience: Snip & Float.
Here are some basics to help you understand Snip & Float:
👉 Firstly, what is Snip & Float. What features and benefits does it provide?
Snip & Float is a tool that lets you cut a digital piece of the screen. That piece then hovers in front of all screens while you work, removing the need to resize screens, toggle screens and more. Don’t need the snip just yet? File it in the snippet holder, export or save it for later.
Let’s explore more and see what it can do:
Snip:
Paragraphs
Blogs
Graphs
Reports
Socials
Web Searches
Images
Financials
Documents
Contracts
Presentations
& More
Hover:
One of our famous features is the ability to hover over every open program on your desktop or laptop giving you complete ease to see, cite, read and reference.
Store:
Store your Snips in our Snippet holder. This nifty holder tucks neatly away into the side of the screen which can be expanded out to view the Snippet overviews or collapse to give you max screen space. Easily access the important snips and or save others to retrieve later.
Export as standard file:
Cut the steps: Don’t waste time to screen-shot, add to program, crop, and save as image any longer.
Simply Snip, Right Click, Export Save. All within a few seconds.
Highlight:
Have some important info on the Snip? Highlight it! With our easy navigation of a right click, you can select highlight, choose the color and highlight the night away.
Title:
Easily keep track of your Snips by adding a title. This title can be seen at the bottom of the snip.
Some users add the name of the resource so they can remember the item, or alternatively add the URL. Simply right click, select title and type your title in.
👉 What problem does Snip & Float solve?
When you get comfortable at your computer ready to tackle your long list of daily tasks, there’s always heaps of information from different tabs, documents, and screens to process, causing your fingers to burn from the constant toggling of screens.
Just because you have heaps of resources needed at any one time, it doesn’t mean you should have all those resources open, and it most certainly should not mean that you must toggle back and forth or have 3 monitors in a row so you can see them all at once.
Spending time on how you’re working rather than what you’re working on is effort wasted, time wasted, energy wasted. Snip the Squander!
Snip Time off your Tasks!
🚨 Our Roadmap:
We’re expanding the concept to allow for more snippets to be stored in the snippet holder, along with a hierarchy system for folders. It’ll take some time to develop but it’s going to be a gangster!
And of course, we listen to our Sumo-Audience for further requests.
