In the past I was a founder of a Web Content Management business that IBM Acquired, that became the IBM Web Content Manager and was (is) used across the globe. Typically, you always need two key skills to build a solution:
Design (UX, UI, Product etc) and
Development : Tech stuff to make things actually work - like coding, database building it as a responsive web app as well as native apps for iOS and Android
With Buzzy we allow you to create working web and native apps directly from Figma without coding.
We've automated the creation of the application, including all the geeky stuff like database, data binding, business logic, security model, offline access etc so that you can get something into the hands of your users and start learning, iterating and making better products ASAP.
We know designers love Figma, so allowing you to keep working in Figma, is a key part of what we believe in… we’re not trying to replace Figma, it’s a super cool tool used by millions of designers, you can keep using it… and just keep pushing out changes to you apps that are available instantly with a push of a button.
We also allow you to design BOTH a responsive web app and native apps straight from Figma. This is a critical differentiator to other tools out there that focus on either code handover or just either web or native but not both. The reality is, most solutions need both web and native and our ability to do both is a game changer, and when I say Native, I really mean native - we use React Native under the covers, not just a web-app dressed up like a native app (eg Cordova). This means we do cool stuff like allow you to go offline with hundreds of thousands of records, handle conflict resolution, stuff you don’t want to think about.
