Tired of searching for a romantic comedy that will make you laugh until your sides hurt? Look no further!

Don&rsquo;t get me wrong &ndash; I love reading romantic comedies!&nbsp;While&nbsp;I enjoy the swooniness (not a real word but go with it) of a romance, let&rsquo;s face it &ndash; the trope formulas get repetitive. What sets them apart for me is the comedic aspect. I love to laugh and when I find a romantic comedy that can give me the feels but keeps me in stitches, I have found my new home. The Art of Falling in Love was just that. It&rsquo;s not tears down your face, holding your side hilarious but it is a funny, short and sweet, feel good read. The Art of Falling in Love (Falling in Love Book 1) by Carrie Clarke

Once again, Carrie Clarke takes a typical trope, puts her wickedly clever spin on it, and makes it refreshingly new and insanely entertaining. When I saw Blueprint for Falling in Love was the second book in the series, focusing on Josh and Greer, I immediately went &ldquo;Who?&rdquo; Not able to recall them, I did a quick scan of The Art of Falling in Love and reacquainted myself with their brief injection into the story. While I am not sure of the exact timeline, The Art for Falling in Love overlaps with Blueprint for Falling in Love, giving a sneak peek to readers on the insanity that is about to go down between Josh and Greer. Blueprint for Falling in Love (Falling in Love Book 2) by Carrie Clarke

Through laughter and tears, smiles and gasps, A Capacity For Falling in Love will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The moments I walked away from this book were only to reset and re-center to keep going &ndash; that is how much is captures your attention.

Each time I begin a book by Carrie Clarke, I secretly challenge her to outdo her last male protagonist. While I'll admit I still have eyes for Ben (he's a tough act to follow!), Will is definitely contending with Josh for the number two spot. "The Nature of Falling in Love" wasn't just a beautifully woven friends-to-lovers story; it was an entire experience. Carrie's depiction of Will's grief is so incredibly vivid, it's as if she's channeling her own emotions onto the page. Whether that's the case or not, for those of us who have known grief, the authenticity of Will's struggle with denial, self-destruction, and eventual growth is undeniable.

Read the Series: Falling in Love
